A little history lesson - the two presidents leading up to the Great Depression of the 30's were Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Hoover, Republicans. The witch hut of Senator Joe McCarthy from Wisconsin accusing Americans of being Communists between 1949 and 1954 was a Republican. The Watergate scandal of President Richard Nixon, a Republican, was 1972-1974. The disastrous Iraq War of Republican George W. Bush, in 2002. The 2007 Great Recession also struck under George W. Bush. Stock market average returns during Republican presidential administrations are 3 percent. Stock market average returns during Democrat administrations are 7 percent. Hold on to your hats Americans, here we go again.
