Gov. Polis Announces Protect-Our-Neighbors Framework

June 30 Update:  Governor Jared Polis announced bars and nightclubs will close again for in-person service after the state saw an increase of coronavirus cases. Regulations for bars and night clubs will return to what they were two weeks ago with in-person service prohibited until further notice.

In the meantime, bars may serve take-out alcohol. Bars that serve food can still provide in-person service as long as patrons remain six feet apart. Patrons must only interact with their own party and not mingle with other patrons.

The Latest Information from the Governor’s office regarding the pandemic.

Level 1 – Stay at Home, Level 2 – Safer at Home (and in the Vast, Great Outdoors) and now Level 3 – Protect Our Neighbors

Local communities will soon be able to qualify for Protect-Our-Neighbors status to gain more local control in their communities if they meet certain criteria, including low viral transmission and preparedness of the public health agency to successfully respond to an increase in cases.  More information here.
