What's up with your government? - #lakewoodnews

Lakewood City Council, July 11

ActionCity council passed an ordinance authorizing a supplemental appropriation to the 2016 budget in the amount of $100,000 from a National Endowment for the Arts grant the city won in partnership with the 40 West Arts District. The money will go to the creation of a 40 West Arts Loop around Lamar Station Plaza and the connection of three parks -- Mountair, Walker-Branch and Aviation. 40 West will work with local artists on installations along the loop.The project will begin in August and be completed in June 2018.
