The Jefferson County School District and the district's teachers union have reached a tentative agreement. The text of the contract was made public Wednesday afternoon for the union membership to study and vote on. Union members have until May 27 to vote.
Before it would take effect, the contract must also be approved by the school district's Board of Education at its June 2 meeting.
